Sushi class special come back in November!!

We are having "Sushi class special" again as this course is so popular and
we had great feed-back from people who attended our class.
It is time to learn proper Sushi making including how to cook Rice perfectly!!
You will get great skills for preparing Christmas meals.

It is 2 hours session for making Sushi rolls & Sushi variations (Temari & Inari).
Let's learn Sushi making by demonstration & hands-on cooking!

Cooking class on Mon 29th (6pm) October

We had another class with the menu 'Tonkatsu (Pork cutlet)' & 'Miso-dengaku
(Sweet-Miso paste on grilled eggplant)', the lecture 'Goma (Sesame)'.

We had 4 people this time and it was lovely evening, very bright and warm.
Everybody enjoyed lots of hands-on cooking and they made wonderful meals.

Japanese cooking classes in November

We would like to inform our regular classes (2 and half hours including lecture and
tasting time) in November here.

The menu is popular party food "Okonomi-yaki (Savory pancake)" &
popular daily lunch "Yaki-soba (Fried noodle)".
The lecture is "Yatai (Mobile food stall in Japan)".

Cooking class on Wed 24th (11am) October

The menu was "Tonkatsu (Pork cutlet)" & "Miso-dengaku (Sweet-Miso paste 
on grilled eggplant)" with lecture  "Goma (Sesame)".

We had 6 people this time and everybody tried few different kinds of Sesame.
Sesame is very important for Japanese cuisine, Sesame oil is very useful.

Japanese people use lots of eggplant and we have lots of different recipes, but 
there aren't many here, so everybody enjoyed the taste of Sweet-Miso on eggplant.
Pork cutlet was beautiful, too, very tender meat and crispy outside.

Sushi class special on Wed 17th (12pm) October

We had a wonderful Sushi class on Wed 17th October!
This class was 2 hours session to focus on making Sushi.

We taught how to make rice perfectly and how to make
good Sushi rice to start which is very important for
making Sushi.
Not many people knew this and we hope everybody will
make nice fluffy rice next time at home.

We made 2 Sushi rolls (1 basic roll and 1 inside-out roll),
2 Inari-Zushi (Bean curd pocket with some topping) and
2 Temari-Zushi (Little ball sushi) each.

Everybody made wonderful Sushi and enjoyed the taste!
